Around Campus: Recycling & Waste Management
The FSU Solid Waste and Recycling department is responsible for all of our campus waste and recycling needs. FSU is continually increasing the infrastructure that is necessary to support our waste reduction programs. Below is a list of what can be recycled on campus:
| Paper -- white,colored, newspaper, magazines | |
| Cardboard -- Please stack next to paper collections bins or outdoor dumpsters. | |
| Aluminum and steel cans | |
| Plastic bottles | |
| Ink Cartridges -- Please drop these off at the FSU Computer Store in the Oglesby Union. |

Recycling projects
RecycleMania – FSU will be participating in the national RecycleMania competition for the first time in January 2009. Stay tuned for more details.
Greek house recycling – The Sustainable Campus Committee is working with Greeks Going Green and the City of Tallahassee to increase recycling efforts within the Greek houses.Request a Recycling Bin
