FSU Student Activities, the Oglesby Union Operations and Administration team, and Sustainable Campus have partnered to bring RSOs a Re-Use Cabinet. The Re-Use Cabinet provides RSOs access to free, reused supplies and materials while building students’ resource use and waste awareness.
How do I access the Re-Use Cabinet?
The Re-Use Cabinet is located on the 3rd floor of Oglesby Union in Student Activities to the left near mailboxes and computers! Any RSO can access the Cabinet. Students simply show their current FSU ID to the desk attendant, get the key to the Re-Use Cabinet, then sign a log of what items they take for reuse.
Donations of unused or partially used but usable materials are always welcome! Due to the nature of the Re-Use Cabinet, it is suggested that students do not take more than they can use; if an RSO has not utilized the resource in its entirety, they are encouraged to return the partially used resource.
Cabinet Commitment: In taking supplies from the Re-Use Cabinet, I, on behalf of my organization, commit to donating any unused but usable materials that I cannot store back to the Re-Use Cabinet to avoid sending these resources to the landfill.
What can I donate?
The Re-Use Cabinet accepts the following:
- Extra plates/utensils
- Swag items
- Paper: Construction, scrap, notebook, cardstock, printer
- Office Supplies (pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, crayons, colored pencils, chalk, tape)
- Water bottles
- Poster board
The Re-Use Cabinet does not accept glitter or paint
