In Fall 2021, Lauren worked with FSU Planning & Space Management to georeference AutoCAD data in ArcGIS and conduct an analysis of campus irrigation. Lauren joined the Fellows program to expand upon her experience with flow bed mapping.

Undergraduate students in the Fall 2021 IDS 2227 Sustainable Society class conducted primary and secondary research to explore community attitudes towards a variety of sustainability-related topics.
Dr. Tingting Zhao, Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, challenged her students to use the skills they gained in the classroom to help Sustainable Tallahassee survey the community. Sustainable Tallahassee is a non-profit dedicated to promoting environmental, economic, and social sustainability in the regional area through education and collaboration.
In collaboration with FSU Facilities Design & Construction, undergraduate students in the Fall 2021 IND 3627 Sustainable Design course reimagined Florida State spaces through the lens of sustainability.
Professor Meghan Mick, Assistant Professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and Design, challenged students to apply principles and products of sustainable design to update an existing location on campus. The students considered environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability as they worked in teams to achieve a more sustainable space.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State University’s (FSU) Sustainable Campus engaged the research services of an external auditor, Dionne Wilson, to examine its inclusion of diverse students in programming and communications. Wilson is a Ph.D. candidate in Science Education in the FSU College of Education.
