In Spring 2021, Mackenzie and John worked as a team to research beach accessibility features in Florida state parks for the Florida Disabled Outdoors Association (FDOA).

Project: ArcGIS Story Map for Apalachicola Basin Trails

Partner: Apalachicola Riverkeeper 

Students: Dasha Kosheleva, second year graduate student in Urban and Regional Planning; Tyler Osha, fourth year undergraduate in Environmental Science and Policy 


In Spring 2021, Dasha and Tyler worked as a team to compile 11 recreational trails into a single ArcGIS Story Map for Apalachicola Riverkeeper.

Program: Fourth Year Undergraduate in Environmental Science and Policy


Tyler is a senior studying Environmental Science and Policy. He has a passion for protecting the environment and is interested in the intersection of business and sustainability. After graduation, he plans to work in the corporate sustainability field.

Students in the Fall 2020 Foundations of IMC Living Lab course reimagine marketing for an important campus resource.

The FSU Food for Thought Pantry provides students in need with free food and essentials. Due to staffing limitations, the Pantry faces challenges marketing its services and raising awareness across campus.

Sarah is a junior studying Geography with a minor in Environment and Society, and her sustainability journey started when she volunteered in the Atlantic Rainforest, Brazil for two months. Working in rainforest restoration helped her realize that sustainability is a lifelong practice that she wants to live by.
